Weston McGhee (b.1992) An American photographer based in Idaho.

My work centers on portraiture, personal narrative, and deep sensitivity to human connection. Raised in a military family, I learned early the value of preserving memory. Constantly meeting new people and moving from place to place, photography became the means of connection—an anchor that allowed me to hold on to the faces, stories, and fleeting moments that shaped my youth.

Primarily with medium format film—often 6×7 or 6×6—using a digital full-frame camera alongside the analog tools to create a dialogue between past and present modes of image-making. My work is grounded in authenticity and intimacy, reflecting the ongoing fascination with the people I encounters and the stories they carry.
