My name is Weston McGhee (b.1992) I am an American photographer based in Idaho.
I grew up in a military family and so I learned very early in my life how important photography was to me. I constantly met new people who I never wanted to forget and would always take portraits and document my life with them. It wasn’t until my my first semester of undergraduate that I figured out photography was my true passion
Most of my work is done with Medium format film. While other times a full frame digital camera is used for other work. Portraiture is my primary focus in photography and is what I enjoy most. The ongoing projects of photographing friends who are new and old is meant create a documentation of who they are in that moment. The goal is for my subjects to look having something in they can look back on in the future to show who they were in that point in time.
